What is the: METROLINA HAVOC BASKETBALL CLUB?
The Metrolina Havoc Basketball Club was established by Terence McMurray, former Head Coach of the Charlotte Royals and Charlotte Nets organizations. After gaining valuable experience Mr. McMurray decided to establish a organization that would provide an opportunity for players of different skill levels to further develop their basketball skills and increase their self confidence. HAVOC players must also learn how to balance the responsibilities of school, family and community involvement, along with their participation within the basketball club and it's many events.
The goal of the HAVOC is to provide a quality, well organized basketball program that stresses 110% effort and a overall "team play" concept!
"HAVOC" stands for: Heightening the Athleticism and Values Of Children, which is key for the philosophy and dedication to all involved in this program.
